Project 2012: Day 9

Allegory:
Strange forms appearing in the light and shadow... Sitting in the dark in the middle of the day, searching for answers.

Project 2012: Day 8

I would have to say the closest thing I will ever come to Heaven, are the moments in which I feel some sort of inner peace. I wish it were a feeling I could tap into at will. But these feelings are few and far between. Short lived and replaced with the intermittent feelings of anxiety and worry we all face on a daily basis. How much easier would our days be if we could just walk through them with that feeling of peace? If anyone has found that, I do hope they share.

Project 2012: Day 6

Everyone loves the feeling of seeing home after a long trip or a terrible day at work. Home is our security, our space where we can unwind and just be who we are. It is rare to find a feeling that matches the feeling you get when you pull into the driveway... Walk in the door, and shed the day.
Side note, No the moon was NOT that big. This is actually a result of me doing some shots of the moon for today's project, decided it was too plain, and doing some long exposures outside after the sun went down... And mixing the two.

Project 2012: Day 5

Passions.
I have met several Artists, we all share a common trait, we love to create in any possible medium, not just the primary or what is considered to be our strong point. It could take hours and pages to profile a true artist. So without spending too much time psychoanalyzing things.
We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Upon whom the pale moon gleams;
Yet we are the movers and shakers,
Of the world forever, it seems.
With wonderful deathless ditties
We build up the world's great cities,
And out of a fabulous story
We fashion an empire's glory:
One man with a dream, at pleasure,
Shall go forth and conquer a crown;
And three with a new song's measure
Can trample an empire down.
We, in the ages lying
In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing,
And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying
To the old of the new world's worth;
For each age is a dream that is dying,
Or one that is coming to birth.

Project 2012: Day 4

Vanilla Sky
I like the idea of Train Tracks. It is plain to see in my galleries, I visit them often. There is a reason for that. Options... Sometimes trains stop in front of my town, they sit there for hours. On one of those trains, on any given night, there is a boxcar with an open door I am sure. I have often imagined myself hopping on and seeing how far I could get, just to do it... Just to say I did it. Of course I would most likely call someone to come and get me when I was done. But the thought is always there... Hop on a box car and run, even if just for one day.
Project 2012: Day 3

Blue
Today I decided to dabble in some high speed photography. I would like to warn you. If you try this, give yourself plenty of time for trial and error. This is the second time I have done this, my best advice to you IF you try... Do it once and be satisfied. I stood there dropping water into this dish for an hour and probably shot 300-400 shots. After that, I looked at each one. Then i narrowed it down to 3. And then post processed all 3. So, this takes time to master, and I haven't even mastered it. But nonetheless. Here it is. Enjoy.

Simon Says - The Societal Eye, broken beat and scarred by a jury of our peers. What does Simon tell you to do?

The Road Ahead
A new path. Or, a new beginning as some might perceive. On New Years Day we are given, in theory, the opportunity to start fresh. So it just so happens that this is the symbolic road I have decided to journey. I have placed a challenge in front of myself to shoot GOOD photography, every day for the next 365 days. It should be an interesting, and a very challenging journey. So, here is to taking that first step... on an awesome journey.
Have a request? An idea? Or want to model for my 365 day project!? Make your voice heard... or your image live forever. Post your feedback, and ideas!!!

This is the Photography Blog of Justin R. Byerline. Here you will find stories projects and posts, all of which will be organized in a chronological chaos.
A little about myself:
I am first and foremost an Artist, I love to express myself using many mediums including Photography, Poetry, Prose, Music, and Digital Art. When I am not found behind the lens of a camera, I can be found writing, playing... or thinking. I am a full time student as well as a father and a husband. Essentially the more you read, the more you will know about me.
Soon to come, the 365 projects I have thrown into my own lap this year. Also random images from the past will be added to this blog as well, including anything meaningful I have to say about them.
